Keyboard Surgery
As some of you may know, the split keyboard hasn’t been working 100%. Last Project Night (Thursdays 6PM) I decided to take a look inside and see what was going wrong.
I started by removing the case to take a look at the PCB, wondering if I need to replace a switch socket.
As you can see, the problem was a lot simpler than I thought it would be, the switches just were not pushed fully into the pcb.
I pushed it back in and plugged it in.
I went to a keyboard tester online and checked all the keys and they thankfully worked.
I put the case back on and recruited Alex Reineke to put the rubber feet on the bottom and now the keyboard is 100% functional.
