Akshat Sahay - IoT Garden Sensor

This project collects samples for soil moisture and temperature/humidity (currently broken) data and pushes it to Adafruit IO. It sleeps for the majority of the time (current version has 15 minutes of sleep time with an average 8 seconds of on time), which makes it pretty efficient. Using current values of 70 mA and 20 uA for the WiFi and sleep modes respectively, this device can run off of a 9V battery for almost 150 days. In the future, I want to add a dynamic sleep mode dependent on the rate of change of soil moisture, as well as temperature and humidity data collection once I get my hands on a sensor.
