What’s a better way to maintain privacy in a recording studio than a “Recording In Progress” sign?

Benjamin Katz is in charge of making such a sign for ElectronicaLab. Here he’s soldering LEDs in series to create a backlight. Ultimately, it will have a switch that turns the circuit on and off and a switch that changes the backlight’s colors. Of course, you may have noticed that the sign simply says “Rec.”—but it still gets the message across!
